The car that Kay was driving in was hit by a train shortly before finals of my Sophomore year in college. I believe she was engaged to be married (or was about to be engaged) at the time, and I believe her fiance was also killed in the accident. I can still remember her laughter that sounded like bubbles, and the way she would study by putting her test information to song! I miss you, Kay...
Find myself reflecting on Kay, one of the nicest people I ever met. I didn't know of her passing until some time later.... such a short life... what a loss of goodness. .
