Janice Booth Wacker

We spend winters in our Palm Springs, California condo and the best of summer in our home in Tigard, Oregon, just outside Portland. We also enjoy frequent getaways to our oceanfront condo in Long Beach, Washington.
We avidly pursue home exchanges internationally to live as locals and learn more about the world. After we married in 2001, John set a goal of visiting 50 countries. In 2019 we surpassed that goal with trips to Russia in the spring and then Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, and Ethiopia in the fall.
With travel last year curtailed due to Covid-19, we adopted a miniature poodle puppy in July 2020. Her name is Rosie, and she turned the year from dismal to delightful. We feel greatly blessed!
We will resume international travel in fall 2021, with plans to visit Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Greece.

I was honored to be the editor of the 1969 Talon yearbook, and have very fond memories of the wonderful folks who worked together to make that publication happen for our school and its students.
