Comments:

We spend winters in our Palm Springs, California condo and the best of summer in our home in Tigard, Oregon, just outside Portland. We also enjoy frequent getaways to our oceanfront condo in Long Beach, Washington. We visit Nevada regularly to spend time with our granddaughters, and do an annual road trip with the 3 girls. Such fun!
We avidly pursue home exchanges internationally to live as locals and learn more about the world. After we married in 2001, John set a goal of visiting 50 countries. In 2019 we surpassed that goal with trips to Russia in the spring and then Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, and Ethiopia in the fall.
With travel curtailed due to Covid-19, we are looking forward to a new family member in July 2020--a miniature poodle puppy to be named Rosie.
Life is spectacular! We are blessed!

School Story:

I was honored to be the editor of the 1969 Talon yearbook, and have very fond memories of the wonderful folks who worked together to make that publication happen for our school and its students.

Glad to know the 50th class reunion planning is under way. Thanks to the committee members who are working on this--those of us far away are lucky to have you "on the job"! I look forward to learning the likely month of the events in order to avoid a travel conflict, which has kept me away from every reunion since the 10th. Hope to see you all in 2019.

Happy 64th birthday! John and I are keeping 2019 open so that we will have a chance to touch base with you and our other FVHS classmates. (Haven't been to a reunion since 1979.) Have a great birthday celebration with your beautiful family!

Hi Patsy – I see you are also now an Oregonian. Hope all is well with you, and sorry to have missed the reunion.

I see you are also an Oregonian. Sorry to have missed the reunion, but we return to Portland later this week after an extended trip. It's been real rainy in Ireland, so we felt right at home.

Greetings from Dublin--sorry to miss the reunion. Have fun and hello to my fellow classmates who also now live in Oregon.
